Romans 1:16
Soaked, cold, and ashamed, Peter felt Christ's forgiveness and warmth. The charcoal fire brought back his memories of mistakes intentionally to face them. Jesus wants us to acknowledge our errors and find healing in His forgiveness. This same forgiveness is available to you, relieving your burdens and shame. Jesus knows your mistakes and hurts and offers you forgiveness, healing, and a mission. You're not just forgiven for the past; you're empowered for the future. Jesus doesn't want you to run from your past but toward a better future. He transforms and restores, just like He did for Peter, making Him greater than Peter and empowering us for a higher purpose.
