The same power that parted the seas and delivered the Israelites from the grips of Pharoah also calmed the storm on that day. Jesus, captain of the wind and waves, made the storm bow to his will!

Romans 8:37
Jesus showed he could control the stormy seas and reminded us he has power over darkness and chaos. Just as God split the Red Sea and defeated Israel's enemies, and just as Jesus calmed the wild storm, the Lord wants to bring you deliverance and peace. Romans 8 tells us that nothing can separate us from Christ's love. No troubles, hardships, persecution, hunger, danger, or even death can keep his love away. Moses stood before the sea, but it was God who parted it. Moses had his own troubles—a difficult past, family issues, and a hot temper. He had to deal with people's complaints and the weight of leadership. He was a great man, but just a man, like you and me, with flaws, fears, and sins. He couldn't control the wind. But Jesus could. He calmed the chaotic waters and brought peace. He can do the same in your heart. Give him your worries, fears, doubts, and the mess you're in.
